Speak By Faith Candidate Training

In the wake of the 2024 elections, Faith in Public Life Action, has launched a training to equip and empower today’s candidates – regardless of their spiritual beliefs –  to communicate the role of faith in their lives, craft a Faith Stump Speech, and fight the good fight of faith in the media and on their respective campaigns.

Jeanné Lewis

Faith is the Battlefield

Faith is a driver for voters. Nearly half of Americans (47%) identify as religious. Traditionally, Faith is mentioned in a strictly religious context yet an additional 35% of Americans consider themselves “Spiritual not Religious” or “both.”

To their detriment, some candidates have shied away from discussing faith in their public life despite being a multi-faith, multiracial coalition and the majority of Americans being “people of faith.” Meanwhile Conservatives have built a powerful network of leaders, donors, and influencers to control culture, influence policy, and elect candidates on the basis of faith. Conservatives understand that when they organize and lead with Faith, they will win. It must stop.

Candidates need an evolved definition of Faith, a current understanding of influence it has on political campaigns, and an army of candidates ready to engage on the Faith Battlefield to win back voters, the culture, and territories.
